We live in a dysfunctional, anti-intellectual society, wrought with moral relativism that is tearing apart our families, our communities and even our country. From my observations, it seems that we are in lockstep with the cultural trajectory of ancient Rome.
Hi Max, Unfortunately, I am in complete agreement with you. Canada is no different and actually may be further along the track. We have lost the ability to argue well and intelligently. I am reminded of the sentiment in the Old Testament that iterated: "Each did what was right in his own eyes." Chris
Societies die when they devalue the virtues that caused them to grow and prosper. The traditional American/British virtues are now considered bigotry at best.
